How information is handled in Arena Shift, published by Jims Apps under the Sinka Games brand.

Last updated: 22 October 2026 · Android package / iOS bundle: com.jamie.arenashift

You can play offline without an online account. Optional online leaderboards use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Callsigns and scores are visible to other leaderboard users. The current release has no ads, in-app purchases, Google Analytics or Crashlytics integration.

1. About this policy

This policy covers the current Arena Shift mobile game. Jims Apps is responsible for the game’s use of personal information. Contact support@sinka.me for privacy questions and requests. Visits to sinka.me are covered by our separate website privacy policy.

2. Information on your device

The game saves your records, settings, mode unlocks, mastery progress, cosmetics and chosen callsign locally. Online sign-in is not a complete cloud-save service and does not restore all progress on another device. Local saves remain until removed through the app’s storage settings or by deleting the app; operating-system backups may behave separately.

The game uses internet access for online services and optional vibration for haptic feedback. It does not request access to your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo library. Test builds may produce local gameplay or diagnostic logs. We receive logs and screenshots only if you choose to send them to support; no automatic crash-reporting integration is included.

3. Optional accounts and leaderboards

  • Authentication: Firebase stores an account identifier and sign-in information. Guest access creates an anonymous account identifier. Google sign-in on Android or Apple sign-in on iOS may provide email and profile information to Firebase. The sign-in provider handles your password; the game does not ask you to send it to us. A previously signed-in session may be restored when the app starts.
  • Submitted records: Cloud Firestore stores your account identifier, chosen callsign, best submitted score for each mode, update time and record format version.
  • Visibility: other authenticated players can read leaderboard records, including their account identifiers. The game displays callsigns and scores, not account email addresses. Avoid personal information in your public callsign.
  • Technical information: Firebase processes IP addresses, authentication information and app/device metadata to operate, maintain and secure its services.

4. Why we use information

We use account and score information to provide the online features you request, operate leaderboards and protect accounts. Support messages help us respond to requests and investigate problems. Where applicable, we rely on performance of the requested service and our legitimate interests in security and support. We do not sell personal information or use support messages for advertising.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any name, device details, screenshots or files you include. Our email provider processes messages for delivery and storage. Send only what is needed, and never send passwords or verification codes.

5. Providers, transfers and security

Google Firebase provides authentication and database services. Google and Apple operate their respective sign-in services. Providers may process information outside your country using their applicable data-protection safeguards. See Firebase privacy information, Google’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

Online service traffic uses encrypted connections. Access rules restrict score writes to the signed-in account; leaderboard records are readable by other signed-in players. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect people, security and legal rights.

6. Retention and deletion

Online account records and scores are retained until deleted. Use Account → DELETE ONLINE ACCOUNT in the game, or make a web account-deletion request. Deletion removes your entries from the six leaderboards and requests deletion of your Firebase account. You may need to sign in again to verify ownership. This does not delete your Google or Apple account or your local device progress. Signing out or uninstalling alone does not delete online records.

Firebase documents that authentication IP logs are retained for a few weeks, and other authentication information is removed from its live and backup systems within 180 days after deletion is initiated. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the enquiry, related issues or legal obligations. You can request deletion of support correspondence too.

7. Your choices and rights

You can play offline, choose whether to use online features, sign out or delete your online account. A new callsign is used for future better-score submissions; it does not immediately rewrite existing records. Guest access cannot be recovered after signing out unless successfully connected to a supported account first.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and complain to your local data protection authority. Email support@sinka.me to exercise these rights. We may need to verify ownership and retain information required by law.

8. Age, updates and contact

Arena Shift is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over, and is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information.

We will update this policy and its date when data practices change. Any future advertising or purchases will be assessed and reflected in disclosures before release. Privacy contact: support@sinka.me.
